I am currently in Chicago visiting my girlfriend... so haven't seen a complete
game, did catch some highlights and read some game reports. I have been walking
around the city a bit and having some fun. Chicago is my favorite city when the
weather starts to get warm.
First off…

If you didn't catch any
of the Ranger/Devils game then you missed Sean Avery's antics. He positioned
himself in front of Martin Brodeur and stood face to face with him, waving his
stick and arms in front of Brodeur's mask. The NHL weighed in and will now
interpret any actions like that as interference. Ya think? It is like when a kid
is trying to annoy someone by getting as close as they can without actually
touching them…the whole time yelling "I'm not touching you…I'm not touching
you!" The best part is that it almost looks like Chris Drury skates over during
the play to tell him to get in position. Haha
Second…

My
goaltending hero growing up got a big win for the Calgary Flames the other
night. Curtis Joseph came in after Miikka Kiprusoff was left hanging out to dry
early in their game Sunday. I was pretty happy to see that although they did
beat my boy Brian Campbell's new club.
Check in when I am back in
Michigan…
